Job summary

TMF Group Malaysia is seeking an Accounting Team Lead/Senior Accounting Team Lead to manage a complex portfolio of clients and lead a high-performance team through monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will act as SME for GL/RTR/PTP/OTC, ensure accurate postings, and drive improvements across the accounting cycle.

The role requires 5+ years in GL/RTR/PTP/OTC with supervisory experience, IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in ERP systems.

Qualifications

5+ years in general ledger accounting and RTR, PTP, OTC
Experience leading a team of accounting professionals
Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
Strong MS Office and ERP systems proficiency
Proactive and analytical with attention to detail

Responsibilities

Lead monthly analysis of accounts (TB, Balance Sheet, P&L) for a complex client portfolio
Act as SME for GL/RTR/PTP/OTC, financial reporting, and statutory reporting
Oversee reconciliations and ensure high quality, reliable accounting records
Coordinate period-end close and ensure timely postings
Review others' work and guide the team to meet SLAs
Engage with internal/external stakeholders and auditors
Drive process improvements and automation within the team
Ensure compliance with TMF and client accounting standards
