Yinson is seeking an Assistant Manager, General Ledger to drive financial excellence across a diverse portfolio of entities. The role focuses on managing the general ledger, coordinating month-end close, and ensuring robust reconciliations and timely reporting.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will work with internal teams and external auditors, driving ERP integrity and process improvements to deliver high-quality financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent qualification required.
• Full professional qualification in Accountancy (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA or equivalent) advantageous.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting/financial reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of finance, accounts receivable/payables, or Big 4 audit experience.

Responsabilités

• Own full set of accounts for assigned entities (active project companies and dormant holding companies).
• Lead month-end and year-end closing with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage annual statutory audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Produce timely monthly financial reports and reconciliations; support consolidation.
• Prepare and verify GL journals per policy and approvals.
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with AP/AR, Tax, and Project teams on reporting.
• Drive process and system improvements including automation initiatives.
• Prepare accounting assessments and management papers as required.
• Support ad-hoc tasks and assignments from line manager.
