Yinson seeks an Assistant Manager, General Ledger to drive financial excellence across multiple entities in a dynamic environment. You will lead month-end closures, manage statutory audits, and ensure robust reporting and reconciliations in Kuala Lumpur.

You will collaborate with accounting, tax, project teams, and external auditors to deliver timely, accurate financial statements and implement process improvements, including automation initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent; professional qualification in Accountancy advantageous.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting/financial reporting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of finance, accounts receivable/payables or Big 4 audit experience.

Aufgaben

• Own full set of accounts for assigned entities (active project companies and dormant holding companies).
• Lead month-end and year-end closing to meet reporting deadlines with high accuracy.
• Own the annual statutory audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and liaising with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
• Produce monthly management and financial reports, including monthly closing, reconciliations, audit, and fixed asset management.
• Prepare and verify general ledger journals in line with company policies.
• Record all transactions timely in the ERP system.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reporting to Consolidation team.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve outstanding matters.
• Drive process and systems improvements, including automation initiatives.
• Prepare accounting assessments and management papers as required.
• Support ad-hoc tasks as needed by the line manager.
