The Assistant Manager, General Ledger at YINSON RENEWABLES AS leads the general ledger and financial close for a diverse portfolio across entities in Malaysia. You will coordinate month-end and year-end close, support audits, and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting while collaborating with internal teams and external auditors.

You will manage journals, ensure ERP entries, and drive process improvements including automation initiatives, under supervision of the Accounting Team Lead.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent; professional qualification in accounting is advantageous.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting/financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of finance, receivables/payables or audit experience in Big 4 is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office; ERP experience with IFS or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Own full set of accounts for assigned entities (active project companies and dormant holding companies).
• Lead month-end and year-end closing to meet reporting deadlines with high accuracy.
• Own the annual statutory audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.
• Produce timely monthly management and financial reports, including reconciliations and fixed asset management.
• Prepare GL journals ensuring compliance with company policies and approvals.
• Record all transactions accurately in the ERP system.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and report to Consolidation team.
• Follow up with departments on outstanding matters to resolve issues.
