Job summary

Esri Malaysia is seeking a skilled GIS IT specialist to provide technical GIS application support, training, and managed services to clients, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing geospatial systems.

You will work with ESRI technologies (ArcGIS Desktop/Server), monitor performance, perform health checks and backups, and support GIS integrations with other enterprise systems to maintain client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in GIS/Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years in GIS or IT related roles.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident/Problem/Change).
• Experience with ITSM ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical GIS application support, training, and managed services to clients.
• Diagnose and resolve system/application issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor system performance, conduct health checks, manage backups, and support GIS integrations.
• Gather business requirements, provide technical advisory services, and ensure SLA compliance through reporting.
