Strato Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced GIS Database Manager to oversee enterprise GIS databases, ensuring data security, integrity, availability, and effective management of geospatial data in an Oil & Gas environment.

You will design and maintain GIS database structures, administer SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL, and support ArcGIS Enterprise/SDE environments while collaborating with GIS, IT, and data teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Information Technology, Geo-Information, Survey, Geography, GIS, Geomatics, Geoscience, Geology, Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 10–14 years of cumulative experience in GIS database management.
Minimum 5–9 years of hands-on administration experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on administration experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, SDE / Enterprise Geodatabase.
Minimum 1 evidenced assignment involving development or implementation of database security, data integrity, or data management procedures.
Strong understanding of enterprise GIS database architecture and geospatial data management.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement policies and procedures for GIS database security and reliability.
Design, maintain, and optimise GIS database structures to meet business needs.
Administer enterprise databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
Administer ArcGIS Enterprise / SDE / Enterprise Geodatabase environments.
Manage GIS data integration, ensuring data consistency and availability.
Monitor performance and troubleshoot database issues.
Coordinate with GIS, IT, and data teams for seamless operations.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer on GIS database management.
