Job summary

Dynamic Pile Testing Sdn Bhd invites applications for Geotechnical & Instrumentation Technician (3 positions). The role involves foundation testing, instrumentation installation, and data collection across various site projects in Malaysia. Willingness to travel and outdoor work is required.

Candidates should have a Civil/Geotechnical Diploma, basic engineering knowledge, and the ability to read drawings and operate testing instruments. Sabah/Sarawak travel is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Basic understanding of civil or geotechnical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct static load tests and site testing activities.
• Install and calibrate monitoring equipment and data loggers.
• Coordinate testing activities at multiple project sites across Malaysia.

GEOTECHNICAL & INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN (3 POSITIONS)

We a leading specialist in foundation testing, pile instrumentation, and geotechnical engineering services. We provide comprehensive testing solutions for major infrastructure, high rise buildings, bridges, ports, power plants, industrial facilities, and transportation projects throughout Malaysia and overseas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. FOUNDATION TESTING

• Conducting Static Load Tests, BDSLT, PDA Tests, CSL, PIT and etc.
• Prepare testing equipment before site mobilisation.
• Install Bi-Directional Jack, hydraulic jack, DFOS, reaction systems, load cells, displacement gauges and other testing equipment.
• Perform equipment setup, checking and routine maintenance.
• Ensure testing is carried out safely and according to procedures.

2. INSTRUMENTATION & MONITORING

• Install DFOS cables, VWSG, load cells, inclinometers and other monitoring instruments.
• Install data loggers and monitoring systems.
• Conduct sensor installation and commissioning.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of monitoring systems.

ABOUT YOU

• Diploma holders in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related disciplines
• Basic understanding of civil or geotechnical engineering
• Able to use engineering measuring instruments
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Willing to work outdoors and travel to project sites throughout Malaysia
• Valid driving license (Class D/B2) is an advantage
• Ability to communicate with China nationals is an advantage
• Willingness to be based in Sabah and Sarawak is an advantage
