Job summary

Wasco Process Engineering Sdn Bhd (Formerly known as Jutasama Sdn Bhd) is seeking a General Worker for building and site maintenance in Malaysia. You will perform upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment, and ensure electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems function correctly.

The role requires basic maintenance knowledge and a PMR/SPM qualification, with added advantage for basic electrical knowledge. Company offers annual salary increments, bonuses, and employee engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum PMR or SPM qualification.
• Basic knowledge of building repairs and general maintenance.
• Basic electrical knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Maintain electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of tools, equipment and facilities.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety requirements.
• Adhere to HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Support management in implementing and maintaining HSE standards and practices.
• Perform other duties to support factory operations.

Job description

Perform general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Maintain electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems to ensure proper functionality.

Conduct regular inspections and safety checks on electrical tools, equipment, and facilities.

Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety requirements.

Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and regulations.

Support management in implementing and maintaining HSE standards and practices.

Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management in support of factory operations.

Qualification & Experience

Minimum PMR or SPM qualification.
