PMG Healthcare SDN. BHD. in Beaufort, Sabah, is seeking a General Practitioner for a full-time role within a modern healthcare facility. You will deliver high-quality primary care, manage comprehensive patient care, and offer preventive services to a diverse patient population.

You will diagnose, treat, and educate patients, coordinate with specialists, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team while supporting continuous professional development in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience as a GP or in a primary care setting.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse patients.
• Proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin.
• Knowledge of current clinical guidelines and evidence-based practice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to CPD and staying current with medical advancements.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including clinic coverage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and clinical examinations to diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans in line with clinical guidelines.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and diagnostic tests within primary care settings.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provide health education, vaccinations, screenings, and lifestyle counselling.
• Refer patients to specialists and coordinate ongoing care with other healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals for seamless care delivery.
• Contribute to ongoing professional development within the team.
• Maintain adherence to clinical governance and patient safety protocols.
