This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for the overall performance, profitability, and operational excellence of the firm. You will oversee client delivery, team performance, business development, and financial results while fostering a high-performance, people‑oriented culture.

Key responsibilities

Full P&L ownership: drive revenue growth, manage costs, improve margins, and deliver sustainable profitability

Lead and develop the accounting team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction

Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the accounting practice, including workflow management, quality control, and process improvement

Build and maintain strong client relationships; identify opportunities for cross‑selling and expanding services

Drive business development and practice growth in the KL market

Champion the adoption of technology and digital tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client experience

Motivate, coach, and retain talent; create a positive, collaborative, and high‑performance work environment

Ensure the practice operates efficiently, meets regulatory requirements, and continuously improves standards

About you

Proven experience in a senior leadership or general management role within an accounting, audit, tax, or professional services firm

Strong commercial acumen with clear P&L sensitivity and a track record of delivering financial results

Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.

Highly people‑oriented with excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills

Tech‑savvy: comfortable with accounting software, cloud platforms, digital tools, and driving technology adoption in the practice
