Job summary

MVC Resources in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking an experienced professional to oversee a team of accounting executives, finalize accounts for management review, and represent the firm to external clients and stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, client management and Mandarin proficiency to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients. You will review and present accounts and reports while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA/CIMA/MIA preferred.
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience, ideally in an accounting firm or shared services environment.
Experience with clients in the construction industry is an advantage.
Confident and articulate—able to finalize and present accounts to external clients/stakeholders.
Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Strong leadership, client management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Review and finalize accounts prepared by executives before client delivery.
Present finalized accounts and reports directly to external clients/stakeholders.
Supervise and mentor a team of accounting executives.
Manage client relationships and resolve escalated issues.
Support the Manager in workflow planning and quality control.
Handle clients in the construction industry where applicable.
