Qualifications

About the role

YL Chee & Co. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to lead the accounting services operations of its associate company, Aston Advisory Sdn Bhd, to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. We are looking for someone to work closely with our financial management team.

The successful candidate will oversee client engagements, review financial reports, ensure regulatory compliance, develop team members, and deliver exceptional client service.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and database
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to details and accuracy
• Ability to direct and supervise

Education & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MICPA, or MIA is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in an accounting firm, audit firm, outsourced accounting service provider, or professional services environment is preferred.
• Prior experience in leading or supervising a team will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
