Job summary

Venchi Malaysia Sdn Bhd is hiring a Gelato Maker to craft premium gelato and support both production and retail teams. You will work hands-on with gelato equipment, follow trusted recipes, and ensure clean, safe production areas while maximizing freshness and minimizing waste.

The role offers variety across production and customer interaction, with shifts and the possibility of contributing to a brand-new outlet opening at JPO.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in gelato, pastry, bakery, dessert or food production.
• Genuine passion for food and great product quality.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare gelato following tried-and-tested recipes and quality standards.
• Operate gelato-making equipment safely and confidently.
• Keep your production area clean, organised and food-safety compliant.
• Monitor stock, freshness and shelf life to minimise wastage.
• Jump in to support the retail team during busy periods — serving customers and sharing your flavour knowledge.
• Help train new teammates as you grow into the role.
