Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking a Fitter/Assembler (Junior or Semi‑Senior) at the Johor Bahru office to assemble geared motors and mechanical components per drawings and specs. You will identify defects, perform reworks, and test assemblies to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and 1–2 years of related experience, with strong numerical ability and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical/Electronics) required or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of working experience in a similar fitter/assembler role.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with data and numbers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble geared motors and mechanical components according to drawings and instructions.
• Identify, diagnose and correct assembly defects and perform reworks as needed.
• Inspect and test assemblies to ensure function and quality.
• Use hand and power tools and precision measuring equipment safely.
• Follow drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity standards.
