Job summary

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting, or related technical field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fitter in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and mechanical schematics.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures.
Willing to work shifts, overtime, or emergency call-outs when required.

Responsibilities

Assembling fabricated components into a larger machine or system.
Complying with operation, safety and maintenance procedures.
Understanding and interpreting diagrams, blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the sequence of operations.
Performing regular maintenance and repair work and conducting diagnostic test to determine the root of problems.
Monitoring the fabrication and assembly process.
Replacing damaged or defective components.
Adhering to other overall on-site regulations.
