Job summary

DHL Malaysia is seeking a Gateway Operations Lead to manage a rostered shift, ensuring shipments flow in and out of the country per network procedures in a safe and secure manner.

You will lead daily process flows, oversee inbound/outbound material, maintain equipment uptime, and foster a culture of quality and service excellence across teams.

Qualifications

• Exhibits ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Good spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Valid Driving Licence and Forklift Licence (Preferably).

Responsibilities

• Lead a gateway operations team on a rostered shift basis ensuring that shipments enter and exit the country in accordance with network procedures in a safe and secure manner.
• Lead the standard and agreed process flow in daily operations to satisfy the customer needs and requirements.
• Process inbound and outbound material according to the latest processes and procedures.
• Ensure that all relevant equipment is operating and take corrective actions when equipment fails.
• Keep the process area clean and tidy and make sure it is ready for the next process cycle.
• Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers) and flexibility.

YOUR PROFILE

• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
• At least Diploma or equivalent and above
• Good Spoken and Written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess valid Driving License and Forklift License (Preferably).
