Job summary

DHL Malaysia is seeking a Customs Clearance Specialist to support cross-border shipments in a dynamic international setting. You will communicate with customers, prepare accurate import/export declarations, and ensure timely status visibility within standard processes.

Ideal candidates will have a diploma or equivalent, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, and a valid driving license. Join our Insanely Centric Team and contribute to efficient, compliant clearance operations.

Responsibilities

• Discharge customs clearance responsibilities by communicating with customers and providing shipment status visibility to the network within established standards.
• Determine the shipment value in accordance to the local valuation guidelines provided by the local authorities
• Ensure the accurate preparation of import and export Customs declarations and the timely provision of those for review
• Contact Customers for shipment information, duty and tax advice, seek payment approval
• Maintenance of Customer database
• Ensure the attainment of both inbound and outbound shipment clearance, efficiently within clearance performance targets and transit time

YOUR PROFILE

• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
• At least Diploma or equivalent and above
• Good Spoken and Written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess valid Driving License.
