Job summary

Baxian (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Transfer Agency Executive (Fund Operations) based in Kuala Lumpur. You will review and verify trade instructions, update investor records, and ensure accurate data in transfer agency systems.

You will assess KYC/AML documentation, review FATCA/CRS information, and respond to queries from Fund Managers and Investors, contributing to accurate, compliant fund operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in transfer agency, fund operations, AML, KYC, or Customer Due Diligence (CDD) is preferred.
• Experience with World-Check or other name-screening systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify trade instructions, including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches.
• Update investor details and transactions accurately into the transfer agency system.
• Review Know Your Client (KYC), anti-money laundering (AML) and due diligence documentation of investors for accuracy and completeness.
• Review information for FATCA and CRS.
• Attend to and ensure timely responses to queries from Fund Managers and Investors.
