Job summary

Neuron Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Software Tester for a contractual role to ensure the quality of banking applications and related digital services.

You will develop test scripts and conditions, execute tests, document results, and collaborate with application teams in an Agile/DevOps environment to verify fixes, validate enhancements, and support timely releases.

Qualifications

• Experience developing test conditions, cases, and expected results from requirements.
• Attention to detail with ability to document test scripts and defect reports.
• Knowledge of software testing concepts and the SDLC.
• Experience with online banking applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with Agile testing and DevOps methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop test scripts, test conditions, test data, and expected results for component, assembly, product, performance, UAT, and technical architecture testing.
• Develop, update, and maintain testing standards, processes, and procedures.
• Execute test scripts and document test results.
• Record and track problems and issues in accordance with project procedures.
• Work closely with application teams to investigate and resolve testing issues.
• Participate in the release control process to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Validate fixes and enhancements through appropriate testing.
• Escalate issues that may impact project schedule, budget, quality, or testing activities to the Test Lead/Test Manager.
