Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Functional Tester with banking domain experience to support end-to-end testing of banking applications. The role involves test planning, execution, defect management, and ensuring solutions meet business requirements.

This is a 12-month contract, onsite, five days a week (Mondays–Fridays), with working hours 9AM–6PM MY time. The candidate will develop test scripts, document defects, and collaborate with application teams to validate fixes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in CS/IT or related field.
• Experience in Manual Testing, Test Automation, Test Management, and Agile Testing.
• Strong Banking experience, especially Internet Banking.
• Understanding of software testing concepts, requirements, and lifecycle.
• Attention to detail with good documentation, communication, and problem solving.
• Able to work independently, learn quickly, and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop test scripts, test conditions, test data, and expected results across testing phases.
• Execute test scripts, document defects, and steps to reproduce.
• Develop and maintain testing standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate with application teams to resolve testing issues and validate fixes.
• Participate in release control and ensure requirements are met.
• Escalate issues that may impact timelines, budget, or quality.
