Job summary

Genki Sushi (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is hiring Fulltime Sushi Crew at Sunway Velocity. You will perform food preparation, assist customers with orders, and keep stations clean to maintain high hygiene standards. The role offers a friendly team environment and training in Japan Food & Service skills.

Applicants with prior customer-facing experience and strong communication skills are preferred. Basic + allowances provided, with opportunities to learn and grow in a Japanese authentic sushi chain

Fulltime Sushi Crew (Sunway Velocity) Basic + Allowances Provided

Food Preparation: Cook sushi rice, slice fresh fish and vegetables, and assemble rolls like maki, nigiri, and sashimi.

Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve meals with a positive attitude.

Station Cleanliness: Maintain hygiene standards by cleaning workstations, tools, and display counters regularly.

Inventory Support: Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with kitchen prep or restocking supplies.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a willingness to go the extra mile
