Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of Rubberflex's manufacturing process and overall operational workflow.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Store, Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, Finance and Management.
- Analyse manufacturing performance including production output, efficiency, speed, yield, quality, downtime, wastage and material consumption.
- Review production and operational data to identify trends, abnormalities, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Understand the relationship between production performance, inventory movement, material usage, costing and profitability.
- Analyse workflows from raw material receipt through production, finished goods, inventory, sales and delivery.
- Support root-cause analysis for operational issues and data discrepancies.
- Identify areas where better systems, reporting, controls or automation can improve business and manufacturing performance.
Business Analysis
- Work directly with users and management to understand operational problems and business requirements.
- Study existing processes before automating them and identify unnecessary manual work, duplication, weak controls and inefficient workflows.
- Translate business requirements into system requirements, workflows and functional specifications.
- Analyse how changes in one department may affect other areas of the operation.
- Recommend improvements involving systems, automation, reporting, controls or process redesign.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and improve solutions based on actual user feedback and operational results.
Full Stack Development
- Design, develop and maintain internal business and manufacturing applications.
- Develop user-friendly web applications, dashboards, back-end services, APIs and database integrations.
- Build tools to automate operational and administrative processes.
- Integrate new applications with existing company databases and systems.
- Develop solutions for production monitoring, inventory control, reporting and workflow management.
- Troubleshoot application issues and maintain system security, access controls, data integrity, source code and technical documentation.
- Support users after implementation and continuously improve developed systems.
Data Analytics & Management Reporting
- Develop SQL queries to extract and analyse operational and financial data.
- Analyse information from production, inventory, sales, purchasing, costing and finance systems.
- Build management dashboards, automated reports and exception reports.
- Investigate discrepancies between operational data and system records.
- Improve the reliability, accessibility and consistency of company data.
- Assist management in converting operational data into actionable information and useful KPIs.
Process Improvement & Digitalisation
- Review processes across the company and identify opportunities for digitalisation.
- Replace repetitive manual and spreadsheet-based processes with structured systems where appropriate.
- Improve integration and information flow between departments.
- Reduce duplicate data entry and manual reconciliation.
- Support standardisation of workflows and operational controls.
- Work with management and department heads on digital transformation initiatives.
- Measure whether implemented systems improve productivity, accuracy or decision-making.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Approximately 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in full stack development, business systems, business analysis or operational analytics.
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
- Experience developing modern web applications and working with APIs/system integrations.
- Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand complex operational processes and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Comfortable working directly with operational data and investigating issues.
- Able to manage assignments from requirement gathering through development and implementation.
Preferred Technical Skills
Candidates are not expected to know every technology listed above. Strong technical fundamentals, analytical thinking and the ability to learn existing business systems are more important.
Rubberflex is seeking a Full Stack Developer & Business Analyst to support the digitalisation, analysis and continuous improvement of the company's overall business operations.
This is a hybrid role combining software development, business analysis, manufacturing operations analysis, data analytics and process improvement. The role will work across the organisation, with particular focus on manufacturing and operational processes, to understand how the business operates, identify inefficiencies and develop practical systems, applications, dashboards and automation solutions.
The person is expected to develop an end-to-end understanding of Rubberflex's operations - from raw materials and production through inventory, quality, costing, sales, logistics and finance.
