Job summary

Saga Fire Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent accounts professional to manage full-set accounts, month-end closing, and reliable financial reporting from our Shah Alam office. You will handle payable and receivable tasks, monitor cash flow, and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance.

The role requires independent work, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software. You will support management with timely financial information and help optimise accounting

Qualifications

• Practical experience with full-set accounts and month-end closing.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, payments and receipts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Monitor outstanding collections, payment commitments and cash flow requirements.
• Prepare and maintain full-set accounts, complete month-end closing and prepare financial reports.
• Review accounting records, resolve discrepancies and follow up outstanding matters.
• Maintain organised supporting documents, including project-related expenditure records.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents and relevant parties on accounting and compliance matters.
• Work closely with the existing Accounts Executive to understand company procedures, maintain continuity and provide independent cover when required.
• Provide management with accurate, timely financial information and support improvements to accounting processes.
• Handle company, employee and financial information with strict confidentiality.
