Job summary

JINGDONG Industrials (JD Industrials) seeks a highly motivated Fulfillment Supply Chain Manager to optimise end-to-end operations. You will drive cost efficiency, delivery speed, and service quality across warehousing, inventory, order processing and last-mile delivery.

You will lead a high-performing team, collaborate with procurement, logistics, technology and sales, and implement advanced SCM systems to enable data-driven decisions. English fluency required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7-10 years in supply chain; 3-5 years in leadership roles in fulfillment/logistics.
• Experience reducing costs and improving service levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance fulfillment efficiency.
• Oversee warehousing, inventory, order processing, last-mile delivery and returns.
• Analyze performance data, identify bottlenecks, drive improvements with lean methods.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, technology and sales for end-to-end alignment.
• Manage relationships with 3PLs and monitor SLA compliance.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team.
• Implement and utilize SCM systems and technologies to optimize decisions.

Job Summary:**

JD.com is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fulfilment Supply Chain Manager to optimise and lead our end-to-end fulfillment operations. This role will be critical in ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery services for our customers, playing a pivotal role in JD.com's continued growth and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:**

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance fulfillment efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery speed and accuracy.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of fulfillment operations, including warehousing, inventory management, order processing, last-mile delivery, and returns management.
• Analyze supply chain performance data, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as procurement, logistics, technology, and sales to ensure seamless integration and alignment across the supply chain.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), negotiating contracts and monitoring their performance against service level agreements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
• Implement and utilise advanced supply chain management systems and technologies to optimise processes and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies within fulfillment operations.
• Forecast demand and plan capacity to meet fluctuating customer needs and peak season requirements.
• Drive innovation in fulfillment processes and explore new technologies to enhance the customer experience.

Job Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role focused on fulfillment or logistics, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.
• Proven track record of optimising supply chain operations, reducing costs, and improving service levels.
• Strong understanding of warehousing operations, inventory management principles, transportation logistics, and last-mile delivery challenges.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP) and advanced analytical tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in motivating and developing diverse teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage.
