Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Fulfilment Centre Manager to modernize our operations, boost efficiency, improve inventory accuracy, and lead a high-performing team through technology and process innovation.

You will transform our centre, oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate with internal partners to meet on-time delivery and customer service goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in fulfilment centre operations.
• Experience in fulfilment centre process improvement, operational transformation, or productivity enhancement.
• Strong knowledge of fulfilment centre management procedures, inventory control and logistics.
• Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management System is an advantage, including fulfilment centre software, inventory databases, and operational reporting.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
• Proactive, hands-on, technology-oriented, and results-driven, with a passion for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilment Centre Transformation: Lead warehouse improvement initiatives, streamline workflows, optimize fulfilment centre layout and storage capacity, and implement operational best practices.
• Operations Management: Oversee end-to-end fulfilment centre activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and logistics, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfilment.
• Inventory Control: Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock takes, reconciliation, and effective stock control procedures.
• Performance & Cost Management: Establish and monitor fulfilment centre KPIs, identify operational bottlenecks, optimize manpower and equipment utilization, and reduce errors, wastage, and operating costs.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel, establish performance standards, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure fulfilment centre safety, housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Logistics Coordination: Work closely with internal departments and transport partners to ensure timely deliveries and high customer service standards.
