Job summary

Humana International Group is seeking an Assistant Manager, Distribution Centre in Malaysia to lead the client’s distribution centre operations. You will optimize efficiency, manage inventory, and motivate the warehouse team to meet KPIs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years in warehouse or distribution centre operations, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in e-commerce fulfilment and FMCG is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in logistics or related field.
• 4+ years in warehouse operations or distribution centre management.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior capacity.
• Experience in E-Commerce Fulfilment is required.
• Retail/FMCG/E-commerce experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage, order processing and goods distribution operations.
• Adhere to SOPs, GDP guidelines and safety guidelines.
• Monitor KPIs to meet business goals and improve performance.
• Maintain stock control system and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team for productivity.
• Ensure safe and efficient use of warehouse equipment.
• Handle internal customer communications and inquiries.

Reports to: Senior Manager, Marketing

Responsibilities

• To assist in overseeing and monitoring receipt, storage, order processing and goods distribution operations.
• To assist in implementing operational policies and procedures by adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines and safety guidelines.
• To assist in monitoring and tracking KPIs to meet the business goals.
• Keeping the stock control system up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Leading, motivating and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to maximize optimal team productivity.
• To assist in ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Responding to and dealing with internal customer communication and enquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution centre management, or logistics, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior capacity.
• Must have experience in E-Commerce Fulfilment capacity.
• Proven track record in Retail, FMCG, E-commerce is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, stock accuracy, order fulfilment, inbound/outbound operations.
