Job summary

Menara Maxis is offering an FTTx internship in Kuala Lumpur, providing hands-on experience in fiber network design, GIS-driven planning, data analytics, and AI-enabled projects. You will work with network engineering teams on performance analysis, dashboards, inventory digitalization, and automation initiatives in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, or dashboard development is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, GIS tools, scripting, or automation technologies is preferred.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• FTTx Network Design & Optimization Support with GIS Tools: Plan, design, and optimize FTTx deployments and analyze coverage and feasibility.
• Advanced Performance Reporting Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain dashboards, collect and analyze data, provide operational insights.
• Network Inventory Digitalization & Reconciliation Project: Validate and maintain inventory data accuracy.
• Process Automation via Scripting/RPA: Identify manual processes and assist in developing automation solutions.
• Exploring AI Use Cases: Research AI applications and assist in proof-of-concept activities within network ops.
