Job summary

DFINITI in Malaysia is seeking engineers in Subang Jaya to review enquiries, project specifications, documents and communicate with clients for clarifications. The role includes heating equipment sizing, proposal preparation, tender costing and timely submissions.

They will liaise with sub-vendors for technical and commercial support to ensure cost-effective design and competitive bids, and handle technical clarifications and handover meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Engineering with relevant oil & gas exposure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to process engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Review enquiries, project specifications, documents and communicate with client for clarification.
• Perform heating equipment sizing, prepare proposals, cost tenders and submit timely.
• Liaise with sub-vendors for technical and commercial support to design cost-effective bids.
• Handle technical and commercial clarifications; attend bid clarification meetings when needed.
• Prepare project handover meetings to ensure seamless transfer of projects.

Perform heating equipment sizing, prepare proposals, costing for tenders and submit in timely manner.

Prepare project handover meetings to ensure seamless handover of project.

REQUIREMENTS:

Possess at least Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. Diploma holder with relevant working experience may consider.

At least 2 years working experience, preferably in Oil and Gas Industries.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Exposure on the following will be an added advantage.

Exposure in Oil and Gas Process engineering.

possess knowledge of rules and regulations of oil & gas and offshore industry such as ATEX, IECEx and Ex Hazardous Area Equipment safety requirements.

Working knowledge of international codes (ASME, ANSI, ASTM, IEC, ISO etc.)
