Job summary

Mr. Tomato Fresh Market Sdn. Bhd. in Klang, Selangor is seeking a motivated Store Supervisor to oversee daily branch operations, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of service.

The role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage inventory, merchandising, and reporting. You will lead a team across departments, train staff, monitor stock, and report results to management. The position involves a 6-day work week, weekend shifts, and travel between branches as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of retail management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with inventory management, sales reporting, and merchandising display.
• Customer-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong execution ability with high discipline, punctuality, and responsibility.
• Willing to work 6 days per week on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must possess own transport for inter-branch travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure smooth daily branch operations, including cleanliness, product display, and staff coordination.
• Lead, schedule, and supervise staff across all departments to ensure efficient manpower allocation without unnecessary costs or overtime.
• Provide staff training, coaching, and disciplinary action when necessary.
• Monitor stock levels, ensure accurate receiving and proper display, and minimize wastage and spoilage.
• Track daily sales performance and support the team in achieving sales targets.
• Submit daily sales and operational reports to management.
• Ensure strict compliance with hygiene standards, safety regulations, and company SOPs.
• Serve as the communication bridge between the branch and head office.
• Travel between branches as required to support operations.
• Undertake any additional tasks and duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
