Job summary

Segi Fresh - Retails is seeking a Floor Manager or Assistant Floor Manager to oversee daily store operations in our Malaysia stores. You will manage receiving, stock levels, pricing, promotions, and store presentation to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

This role requires leadership to supervise a team, willingness to work shifts including weekends and public holidays, and a commitment to store standards, inventory accuracy, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations.
• Manage receiving of goods and verify quantity and quality.
• Monitor stock levels including low stock, OOS, near expiry.
• Conduct stock takes and stock adjustments when necessary.
• Ensure accurate price updates and proper execution of promotions.
• Maintain store layout according to planogram and keep shelves stocked and organized.
• Manage cash handling processes including opening float, closing counter and bank-in procedures.
• Prepare and update daily sales and stock reports.
• Handle damaged goods, returns and disposal according to procedures.
• Conduct regular floor walks to monitor store condition and staff performance.
• Ensure overall store cleanliness and compliance with SOP.

• Manage receiving of goods and verify quantity and quality from suppliers
• Monitor stock levels including low stock, Out of Stock (OOS), near expiry and expired items
• Conduct stock take, cycle count and stock adjustments when necessary
• Ensure accurate price updates and proper execution of weekly/monthly promotions
• Maintain store layout according to planogram and ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized
• Manage cash handling processes including opening float, closing counter and bank-in procedures
• Prepare and update daily sales and stock reports
• Handle damaged goods, returns and disposal according to company procedures
• Conduct regular floor walk to monitor store condition and staff performance
• Ensure overall store cleanliness and compliance with SOP
