Job summary

BIG SUPERMART SDN BHD invites a hands-on retail professional to lead the Fresh Department operations, driving sales, developing your team, and ensuring excellent product quality and customer service. We are looking for a hands-on and results-oriented retail professional who is ready to take greater ownership and grow together with our expanding supermarket business.

2-3 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or Fresh Department operations will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or Fresh Department operations.
• Experience in team supervision, stock management, and retail operations is advantageous.
• Fresh graduates with leadership potential may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day operations and sales in Fresh Department.
• Ensure stock arrangement, replenishment, rotation, and returns.
• Monitor freshness, quality, and handling of fresh products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic department.
• Implement and enforce SOPs.
• Monitor operations and identify efficiency improvements.
• Supervise, guide, and motivate team to meet sales/targets.
• Foster teamwork and good communication within the team.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, performance, and productivity.
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally.
