Job summary

A leading instrumentation company in Kuala Lumpur seeks a student intern to assist with testing, calibration, and technical documentation of process instruments. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Diploma or Degree in related fields and possess good communication and teamwork skills. This role offers hands-on exposure and mentorship from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in in-house testing, inspection, and calibration of process instruments.
• Support in preparation of quotations and proposals for clients.
• Assist with inventory management and documentation.
• Participate in troubleshooting and functional testing of instruments.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams for order processing.

Job description

• Assist in in-house testing, inspection, and calibration of process instruments (e.g., level transmitters, flowmeters, and other sensors).
• Support in preparation of quotations, proposals, and technical documents for clients.
• Assist with inventory management and documentation (updating records, filing test reports, etc.).
• Participate in basic troubleshooting, configuration, and functional testing of instruments under supervision.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree student in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of process instrumentation is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
