Job summary

Jaya Grocer is seeking a freelance mystery shopper to conduct store visits across Kuantan, evaluating stock, cleanliness and customer experience. You will perform quick stock checks, observe product availability, and submit simple, accurate reports after each visit.

Based in Kuantan with own transport, you will travel to assigned stores, document findings, and rate store conditions. Prior retail or auditing experience is an added advantage; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be based in Kuantan and willing to travel within the Kuantan area.
• Must possess own transport and a valid driving license.
• Able to work independently and meet assigned visit timelines.
• Detail-oriented with good observation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting quick and easy stock checks (expiry product & display) for Fruits, Vegetables, Dry Goods, Chilled & Frozen & Food items.
• Visit assigned grocery stores to observe and evaluate store conditions and product availability.
• Evaluate the cleanliness of aisles, shelves, and overall store ambiance.
• Complete detailed reports based on your observations, rating various aspects such as store cleanliness, and inventory levels.

Job description

This is a freelance assignment-based role and does not constitute permanent employment. Payment will be made based on completed store visits/assignments. To assess the quality of service, product availability, store cleanliness, employee behavior, and overall customer experience. Feedback will help improve store operations and customer satisfaction by providing unbiased, detailed and accurate reports based on the visit.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for conducting quick and easy stock checks (expiry product & display) for Fruits, Vegetables, Dry Goods, Chilled & Frozen & Food items.

Visit assigned grocery stores to observe and evaluate store conditions and product availability.

Evaluate the cleanliness of aisles, shelves, and overall store ambiance.

Complete detailed reports based on your observations, rating various aspects such as store cleanliness, and inventory levels.

You should have:

Must be based in Kuantan and willing to travel within the Kuantan area for assigned store visits.

Must possess own transportation and a valid driving license.

Able to work independently and complete assigned visits within the given timeline.

Detail-oriented with good observation skills.

Able to identify issues related to product availability, expiry dates, store cleanliness, and product display.

Able to prepare and submit simple and accurate reports after each store visit.

Experience in retail, supermarket operations, auditing, or mystery shopping will be an added advantage.
