Job summary

Altera Corporation is seeking an Engineering Manager for FPGA Applications Engineering to lead a team focused on Hard Processor System, configuration, and security features of Altera FPGA products. You will guide technical collateral, design examples, and validation to ensure customers can design, deploy, and secure systems based on Altera devices.

You will partner with North America teams to align product requirements, drive readiness, and champion customer outcomes across embedded portfolios,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 8+ years in applications engineering, embedded systems, or FPGA/software domains.
• 3+ years of leading global teams, projects, or technical organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of applications engineers in Penang, Malaysia.
• Provide technical leadership for design notes, user guides, tutorials, and training materials.
• Oversee product readiness, software/hardware releases, and customer enablement.
• Resolve complex customer issues and drive adoption of Altera technologies.
