Job summary

Eco Interiors International Sdn Bhd is seeking an FP&A professional to lead budgeting and forecasting, and to provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making. You will partner with Project Directors and QS to drive cost control and efficiency across Malaysia operations.

You will develop FP&A tools, monitor KPIs, and report performance against budgets and forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA / CPA Australia / CIMA / MIA) is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, management accounting, financial analysis.
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point; experience with IFCA Accounting Software is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders across different functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
• Support in preparing Board papers for approval of the annual budget.
• Prepare Board Papers to update Board on performance vs Budget/Forecast monthly and quarterly.
• Provide strategic financial insights to Head of Finance through analysis of performance, projects, and competitor activity.
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics; identify risks, opportunities and gaps.
• Develop FP&A tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for timely insights.
• Act as FP&A partner to Project Directors and Quantity Surveyors for financial planning and cost control.
• Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems, and methodologies.
