Job summary

QI Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance professional to lead FP&A, budgeting and forecasting across markets. You will drive planning, financial modelling and month-end analysis while collaborating with regional teams to deliver strategic insights and strong financial control.

You will partner with senior leaders on profitability reviews, forecasting and process improvements, ensuring timely reporting and effective cash management in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or related discipline is required.
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including at least 6 years in FP&A in a multinational or regional setup.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, BI, SAP, and Flex system.
• Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with strong communication across countries.
• Knowledge of accounting, financial management and budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, financial modelling and business partnering with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high proficiency in financial modelling, planning, forecasting, budgeting and analysis techniques.
• Ensure smooth issuance of E-Money/Wallet and collections are collected promptly from IDs and agents.
• Ensure all commission payments to distributors are processed on time, with sufficient cash flow maintained
• Actively involved in global month-end reporting and analysis
• Work closely with the local teams for new markets financial evaluations
• Produce month-end reporting analysis for various countries and regions
• Review and analyse current/new market profitability to management. Identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities, competitors analysis
• Support Financial Control reporting and review of any other projects required
• Drive efficiency and effectiveness in business processes through reengineering, value stream mapping and automation
• To perform any tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
