AEON Co. (M) Berhad in Malaysia seeks a seasoned FP&A professional to perform detailed financial analysis of actual, budget, and forecast, highlighting variances for management awareness.

You will collate financial and operational data, prepare reporting packs, and drive weekly forecasts and annual budgets. This role partners with stakeholders to support strategic decisions and ensures SAP reflects approved budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent; Professional Certificate.
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in financial planning and analysis in Big 4 audit or commercial environment.
• Knowledge of SAP and data modelling tools (Power BI/Power Query) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis for actual, budget and forecast to understand variances.
• Collate relevant financial and operational statistics and prepare reporting packs and decks.
• Continuously improve processes to achieve cost efficiencies and optimise work flows.
• Perform weekly forecast and track business performance; identify risks and opportunities to meet targets.
• Plan annual budgets and reflect approved numbers in SAP for execution and monitoring.
• Perform what-if analyses and business simulations to gauge financial impact of new initiatives.
• Develop deep understanding of business operations and support stakeholders in decisions.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and business growth.
• Review requisitions and proposals to ensure spending stays within budget.
