Job summary

AHE Power Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Fleet Maintenance Technician to oversee preventive maintenance schedules for a diverse generator fleet, from portable units to large containerized sets.

You will lead technical troubleshooting of governor faults, ATS failures, and AVR malfunctions, and supervise on-site installations, load bank testing, and commissioning at client locations such as factories and data centers.

Job description

Fleet Maintenance Management

Oversee the preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for a fleet of generator sets, ranging from small portable units to large industrial containerized sets.

Technical Troubleshooting

Lead the diagnosis of complex faults, including governor issues, Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) failures, and AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) malfunctions.

Site Supervison

Manage on-site installations, load bank testing, and commissioning of units at client locations (construction sites, factories, or data centers).

Operator Training

Briefing the client's on-site staff on how to check oil levels and reset the controller after a minor trip, reducing unnecessary "nuisance" service calls.

Job Requirement

At least 1 year of working experience in engineering or related field.
