Job summary

Hanson Building Materials Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a maintenance/repair assistant to support mechanics and ensure quality repair work.

You will train apprentices, participate in field service assignments, and help troubleshoot during repairs while following safety policies and ISO standards.

Requirements

• Ensure all activities and operations are carried out in accordance with established instructions and procedures to prevent any fraudulent activities.
• Comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Act 514), the Company's Safety Policy requirements, and all other applicable laws and regulations.
• Be responsible for the aspects of the Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management system that are under your control.
• Participate in the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation, and improvement actions (PDCA) of the OH&S management system.
• Report any accidents involving yourself, co-workers, contractors, or incidents occurring during the operation of machinery or mobile equipment at the workplace to your supervisor and the HSE Manager as soon as possible.
• Comply with procedures as required under the applicable ISO standards.
• Acquire and maintain all necessary knowledge and competencies required to perform duties effectively and attend training and development programs when required.
• GDL License is preferred.
