Job summary

Bio Care Supplements Worldwide Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking an R&D Product Development Executive to lead the research and development of new food and beverage formulations, including functional drinks, nutraceuticals, and powder mixes, while improving existing products in taste, nutrition, quality, stability and shelf life.

You will conduct sensory evaluation, stability testing and product validation, and collaborate with Production, QA/QC and Marketing to ensure smooth commercialization of

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of R&D experience in food or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of functional ingredients and formulations.
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
• Good communication skills in English, Mandarin and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D of new food and beverage formulations, including functional drinks, nutraceuticals, and powder mixes.
• Improve existing products in taste, nutrition, quality, stability and shelf life.
• Conduct sensory evaluation, stability testing, and product validation per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, QA/QC, and Marketing to commercialize new products.
• Source and evaluate new raw materials, ingredients, and packaging.
• Prepare technical documentation, product specifications, and R&D reports.
• Ensure compliance with Halal, HACCP, GMP and other regulatory standards.

R&D Product Development Executive (Functional Beverage & Nutraceutical)

This role involves research and development of new food and beverage formulations, including functional drinks, nutraceuticals, and powder mixes, as well as improving existing products in terms of taste, nutrition, quality, stability, and shelf life.

Key responsibilities

Conduct research and development of new food and beverage formulations, including functional drinks, nutraceuticals, and powder mixes

Improve existing products in terms of taste, nutrition, quality, stability, and shelf life

Conduct sensory evaluation, stability testing, and product validation in compliance with regulatory requirements

Collaborate with Production, QA/QC, and Marketing teams to ensure the smooth commercialization of new products

Source and evaluate new raw materials, ingredients, and packaging

Prepare technical documentation, product specifications, and R&D reports

Ensure compliance with Halal, HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory standards

About you

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of R&D experience in the food or FMCG industry

Strong knowledge of functional ingredients, food formulations, and product development processes

Good analytical, problem-solving, and project-management skills

Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Good communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Malay
