Qualifications

About the role

What we're looking for

• Diploma,Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related discipline
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations, such as HACCP and food hygiene principles
• Experience in laboratory testing, quality control or food production environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in using food testing equipment and laboratory instrumentation
• Understanding of microbiology and food preservation techniques
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Familiarity with food technology software and data management systems
• Certification in Food Safety or relevant qualifications is advantageous
• Experience in the agricultural or fresh produce sector would be beneficial
