The internship involves performing lab testing, data recording, and collaboration with production teams to drive product improvements and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in food science or related field.
• Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and hygiene practices.
• Experience in lab testing, QC or production environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct food safety testing and quality assurance procedures on products and production processes.
• Develop and implement food technology solutions to improve product quality, shelf-life and nutritional value.
• Monitor compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
• Analyse food samples and ingredients using scientific methods and laboratory techniques.
• Document and maintain detailed records of testing results and production data.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve food safety and quality issues.
• Support the development of new products and formulations through technical expertise.
