Job summary

Ghee Hiang Manufacturing Co. Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities, ensure adherence to planning, and monitor KPI metrics such as OEE, efficiency, and downtime.

You will train staff on food safety practices, manage shift schedules, and handle non-conforming products while upholding HACCP/ISO 22000 standards. Interaction with QA/QC and Maintenance teams is essential.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering or Operations Management.

Responsibilities

Plan and follow up on daily planning and production KPIs (OEE, efficiency, downtime, quality, safety).
Ensure production runs according to planning.
Train staff on food safety practices and procedures.
Establish schedules and address daily issues.
Handle non-conformance products; coordinate rework/disposal.
Enforce procedures for glass breakage incidents.
Communicate effectively with suppliers and contractors.
Oversee safety of food prep; inspect equipment/facilities for HACCP/ISO 22000.
Review employee performance and report to supervisor.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
