Job summary

The Brew House in Penang seeks an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Supervisor (Non-Halal) to lead front-of-house operations and support daily restaurant performance. You will supervise staff, manage service standards, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure smooth dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in a restaurant supervisory or assistant manager role.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are advantageous.
• Proficiency with restaurant management systems and POS software.
• Strong leadership and people management with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front-of-house staff (servers, hosts, bartenders) and maintain service quality.
• Manage restaurant operations during shifts, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Ensure health, safety, hygiene, and company policy compliance at all times.
• Address guest concerns professionally; resolve issues to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
• Train, mentor and develop staff to improve skills and performance.
• Coordinate with kitchen to streamline service flow and manage table turnover.
