Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Design Manager in Johor Bahru to lead Floorcare development from concept to production readiness. You will coordinate engineering, operations and quality teams, ensuring Dyson standards are met and programs stay on track.

The role requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder management and the ability to influence across global and local partners while delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Product Design, Science or related field.
• Significant experience in product design and development within technology, engineering or consumer products.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end product development from concept to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead Floorcare development programmes from concept through industrialisation and production readiness.
• Act as technical lead and primary contact for assigned projects across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement and Programme Management.
• Align Malaysia development with Dyson's global engineering standards and governance.
