Job summary

DHL Asia Pacific Shared Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Transport Planner to coordinate load plans and ensure timely truck availability across regions. You will liaise with SOP teams and transporters to optimize daily movements and reporting, contributing to reliable service delivery.

The role requires 1–2 years in transport management or warehousing, knowledge of air and sea freight, and strong computer literacy.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience in transport management or warehousing.
• Knowledge of Air and Sea Freight.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and TMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare load plans upon receipt of Order details from SOP team.
• Disseminate load plans to transporters according to the region.
• Ensure 100% truck availability; source backup adhoc trucks if needed.
• Follow up with transporters for timely loading arrivals.
• Update the Daily Movement board based on daily plan.
• Update the TMS daily with trips, redelivery, waiting charges, cancellations.
• Verify export invoices against permits prepared by customers.
• Work closely with drivers and transporters to maximise customer satisfaction.
• Report transport failures and discrepancies to your supervisor and record in the DMR.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors.
