Job summary

See Yong & Son Construction Sdn Bhd S(YS) is seeking a Marine Crewing Planner in Kuala Lumpur to manage crew planning, liaison with seafarers, agents and port officials, and ensure vessels are properly manned and compliant.

The role covers crew management, planning, travel logistics, documentation, and reporting. Fresh graduates are welcome with relevant degree and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Management, Business/Management, Human Resources, or related discipline.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with PLKS application is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and good computer literacy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
• Highly motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A good team player with a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
• Willing to travel as and when required.

Responsibilities

• Crew Management & Planning: Manage crewing matters for vessels, ensuring proper manning levels and advance crew changes.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare employment contracts and verify documents with maritime authorities.
• Travel & Logistics Coordination: Arrange travel, visas, permits, transport and accommodation for crew movements.
• Administration & Reporting: Maintain crew records, leave balances, movement schedules, and prepare regular reports.
