Job summary

IPS INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking skilled Fitters for structural steel and sheet metal work. You will read drawings, fit, assemble and install components, and work safely on site with attention to quality. Three full-time positions are available.

Ideal candidates have hands-on fitting experience, can use hand and power tools, and communicate well with the team to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fitter or similar mechanical role.
• Ability to read technical drawings and plans.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments.

Fitter (3 Full-Time Positions Available)

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Fitter (Structural Steel & Sheet Metal - 3pax) to join our team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in fitting, assembling and installing mechanical components, with strong attention to details and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities :

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.

Fit, assemble and install mechanical parts and systems.

Can do marking, tag weld and cutting.

Use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments effectively.

Ensure safe work practices and comply with company policies.

Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to meeting production schedules and project deadlines.

Requirements :

Proven experience as a Fitter or similar mechanical role.

Ability to read technical drawings and plans.

Proficient with tools and measuring equipment.

Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments.

Knowledge of safety procedures and standards.

Experience in fabrication / machining is added advantage.

Knowledge of welding skills is preferred.

Positive work attitude, reliability, and excellent attendance record.
