Job summary

IPS Industrial Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will read technical drawings, assemble and install mechanical components, and ensure precision and safety across projects in structural steel and sheet metal.

The successful candidate will have hands-on fitment experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team to meet production schedules and project deadlines. Training and safety adherence are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar mechanical role.
• Ability to read technical drawings and plans.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in varying environments.
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.

• Mark, tag weld and cutting where required.

Fitter (3 Full-Time Positions Available)

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Fitter (Structural Steel & Sheet Metal - 3pax) to join our team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in fitting, assembling and installing mechanical components, with strong attention to details and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities :

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.

Fit, assemble and install mechanical parts and systems.

Can do marking, tag weld and cutting.

Use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments effectively.

Ensure safe work practices and comply with company policies.

Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to meeting production schedules and project deadlines.

Requirements :

Proven experience as a Fitter or similar mechanical role.

Ability to read technical drawings and plans.

Proficient with tools and measuring equipment.

Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments.

Knowledge of safety procedures and standards.

Experience in fabrication / machining is added advantage.

Knowledge of welding skills is preferred.
