Job summary

The Academy of Safety and Emergency Care (ASEC) in Shah Alam seeks an experienced First Aid and Emergency Response Trainer. You will deliver comprehensive training programs (First Aid, Fire Fighting and Chemical Spillage) tailored to client objectives, with on-job training and assessments.

You will participate in continuous improvement activities, involve learning initiatives, and undergo Internal Maintenance Assessments.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical, Safety and Health or related field.
  • Medical background is an advantage.
  • Experience in education, training, facilitation, or teaching is an advantage.
  • Able to travel with a valid driving license (D).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive training programs (First Aid, Fire Fighting, Chemical Spillage) tailored to client objectives.
  • Receive on-job training on conduct of training sessions and assessments.
  • Execute thorough equipment housekeeping before, during, and after training sessions.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Job description

First Aid and Emergency Response Trainer

Deliver comprehensive training programs (including First Aid, Fire Fighting, and Chemical Spillage) tailored to meet program objectives and client specifications. You will receive on-job training on the conduct of training sessions and assessment will be taken.

Participate in continuous improvement activities, involving learning initiatives and undergoing Internal Maintenance Assessments.

Execute thorough equipment housekeeping practices before, during, and after training sessions.

Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualification

Medical personnel backgroundis an advantage (Nurse, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, or anything related)

Experience in education, training, facilitation, or teaching is an added advantage.

Possesses at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical, Safety and Health or other relevant fields from reputable universities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Ability to speak and conduct training fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Clear and effective communication to convey information and engage participants.

Ability to guide discussions, manage group dynamics, and create an interactive learning environment.

Flexibility to adjust teaching methodology based on the audience and context.

Ability to understand and relate to participants, creating a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Able to travel and possess a valid driving license (D).
